There is a curved portion to some extent in the middle of the nose bridge which is between the bone and cartilage of the nose. If there is a noticeable protrusion in this area, surgery to smoothen it is required. If the protrusion is serious, it becomes an aquiline nose, but it is common to see. Thus, it is common to have general rhinoplasty while correcting the protrusion from the bridge of the nose. If the degree of protrusion is not that severe, it is slightly ground or the prosthesis is slightly cut. If the degree of protrusion is serious, surgery for an aquiline nose is required.
